The collaboration between Andreas Sandström and Grant Watkins can be seen
as an experiment to illuminate something that is usually difficult to
articulate, how we interpret light and movement in our perception of
landscape, sky and mountains. Creating new images through physical and
technical explorations in order to trigger an emotional response in the
viewer. They are documents and constructed memories of specific places, but
also poetic response to different natural environments that people relate
to.
Andreas Sandström and Grant Watkins live and work in Stockholm. Their work
involves deconstructions of time and space in landscapes and environments.
